Weekly Plan 30.05.14 - 06.06.14

Hello Guys! :-)

This week, you are going to write an invitation for a party.

This activity is divided into two parts:

First Part:

First, you must read Pupil's book: "Page 58 - Activities 16 and 17" again.

Next, you should do Activity Book: "Page 58".

Both pages will help you to prepare the activity.

Second Part:

Now that you have finished with the 1st part, you have to prepare your own invitation. Use the cardboard I gave you in class. You can also use other materials (more cardboards, different pieces of paper...). You can cut out the carboard, fold it out... Whatever you want, but use your imagination.

Write the information on one side, as on the other side you have to draw the map.

Remember that when you write an invitation, you need to give important information. For example:

- What kind of party is it? (Carnival Party, Christmas Party, Birthday Party...).

- Whose party is it? (Your Party, your friend's Party...).

- Where is the party? (In your house, in the swimming pool, in the school...). Remember that you have to add some information about how to get there (directions)

- When is the party? (On Monday, on Saturday... On Christmas Day... On the 2nd of April...)

- What time does it begin and what time does it finish? (From 5 pm to 8 pm...).

- What does the guest need to bring? (A present, a hat, a dress...).

- How does the guest need to reply? (By phone, by e-mail...).

Have a look at the "Writing check. Prepositions of time" Pupil's book Page 58, to use the correct prepositions in your writing.

Remember to draw a map showing your guest how to get to the party from a well-known place (for example, you can use the school).

You are creating an invitation for a party, so you have to decorate it properly. You can use whatever you want: stickers, pictures, drawings, pieces of paper with different colors...

Enjoy your weekend

and...
